Pumpkins

Miriam and I went to The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx today. We saw the world's largest pumpkins which are in the process of being carved by professional carvers in time for Halloween. It was a very calming place to take a break from the city although there was a constant hum of traffic and planes flying over every twenty minutes. On the way back to the subway, we stopped off at Edgar Allan Poe's cottage where Miriam held hands with a squirrel.
