The Feast of San Genaro is New York's biggest most famous festival. It lasts eleven days and we went to part of it yesterday. the entire length of Mulberry street was taken over by hundreds of little food and drink stalls selling everything (American-)Italian from cannoli to rice balls, Iced Tea to deep fried oreos. I ate all of the above and will hopefully go back next weekend to sample the salsiccia and steak sandwiches. They looked delicious. Deep fried oreos, by the way, I would highly recommend.
