Yesterday we went to Coney Island. We arrived and headed straight to the rides, not going on any, but having a good look around, a play on the beach and ate a corn dog or two. The film festival was going on there so we went to see a series of short films at the Coney Island Museum. They were interesting and a bit different to what you'd see back in London. My favourite was Vacuum Attraction created by Miller & Schneider. Later in the evening we went for a showing of The Warriors. It played in the Freak Show theatre and the atmosphere was brilliant, surrounded by Coney Islanders who were clearly all enthusiasts about the movie. Such a fantastic day!
