On Saturday, Miriam, Alice and I took a train from Grand Central Station to Tarrytown, by Sleepy Hollow. Just a forty minute journey north of Manhattan we arrived at about 11am and had a good long walk around the towns, ate lunch and hopped back on the train. Luckily we had some 'beauuuutiful' weather and was a great escape from the city. Sadly we saw no headless horsemen. Maybe next time.

Black Friday
On Wednesday Miriam and I went with Melody to her home in Ridge, Long Island. We stayed for Thanksgiving on Thursday (a huge brunch AND a huge turkey dinner) and Black Friday. Turkey photos to come soon.
Melody pointed out these tires the night before. And the gas station...every time we passed it.
The Big Duck. Museum, tourist information and gift shop.
Drive along Dune Lane in West Hampton past all the summer houses.
Deer crossing
Watching Mel's brother and friends play football.
